We do ask any guest who is not feeling well the day of the tour to not attend, and we will refund your ticket, and/or make every effort to add you to a future tour. Docent-Guided-Tour (25K)

Introductory Tour - April 4, April 10, April 30, May 1, May 15, May 23, June 4, June 19, 2024

We get many requests for individual tickets for one of our 3-hour Docent-Guided Tours of the Collection. This tour includes 2 hours in the Sanfilippo Residence and one hour in the Carousel Pavilion with the Foundation Director as your tour guide.

Cost is $30 per guest. Limited tickets available; first come, first served. Tickets only available through The Sanfilippo Foundation Website. Come hear the story of the family and Collection, demonstrations of a variety of music machines, a mini-concert on the Mighty Wurlitzer and a the history of the items in the Carousel Pavilion. There's a reason many folks have taken this tour more than a few times! It's educational and highly entertaining.

After purchase, you will receive a confirmation email from Paypal, our credit card processor, as your receipt. We will send you a second email within a day with your ticket(s) and details to attend. We highly encourage carpooling if attending with family and friends.

Advanced Guided Tour - April 23, 2024 at 9:30 am

This 3-hour guided tour would be for those who have previously taken the Introductory Tour (see below) and were looking to delve further into the variety of automatic music instrument in the Collection. This 3-hour Advanced Tour will be limited in guest numbers so that participants can have a closer, more intimate look at the interesting features of the music machines, and explore pieces not often shown on our regular tour. It would also include a visit inside the Theater Organ pipe chambers (you must be able to walk up 4 flights of stairs unassisted to see the pipe chambers), as well as a visit to the Carousel Pavilion.

Cost is $40 per guest. Limited tickets available; first come, first served. Tickets only available through The Sanfilippo Foundation Website.

April 20, 2024 - The Hope Center - Lake Zurich Gala of Hope

Join us in supporting a local organization that serves families' needs in the areas of food security, clothing, legal advice, medical assistance, and more.. Make a real difference in local lives by attending or sponsoring this volunteer driven organization. Don't miss our first Gala event of the season!

May 18th Armed Forces Day Concert, featuring Organist Dave Wickerham, with Opera Bass-Baritone William Powers

In celebration of all the branches of our military service, this Concert will feature patriotic and great American song selections on the Mighty Sanfilippo Wurlitzer. Doors open at 1:00 pm for touring; concert begins at 2:30 pm. The Carousel Pavilion will be open after the concert from 4 pm - 5 pm.

Tickets are $45 per person. Limited seating so get your tickets early. World War II veterans can come as our guests (please email the Foundation Director if you're a WWII vet and would like to attend ). Email Gregory at: director@SanfilippoFoundation.org

Magic Mansion

June 22 - Magic Mansion Family Concert, featuring Organist Zach Frame

Perfect for families, grandparents, and their little guests to share delightful, kid and family friendly musical favorites. Doors open at noon for touring, Wurlitzer Concert 1 pm - 2 pm, followed by a visit to the Carousel Pavilion for hotdogs and chicken fingers, soda and ice tea, and more from 2 pm - 3:30 pm.

Appropriate for ages 4 and up. Come dressed as your favorite prince, princess, superhero, or surprise us! Special family pricing: Adults $35 and children under 17 are $20.

Tedde Gibson

July 20 - Organist Tedde Gibson

Combining theater organ favorites, along with gospel and jazz, Tedde Gibson's unique talents are perfect for the 80 ranks of the Sanfilippo Wurlitzer. Come delight as this talented musician, composer, pianist, organist, and silent film accompanist commands our stage.

Doors open at 6:30 pm for touring, concert from 8 pm - 9:30, and Carousel visit from 9:30 pm - 10:30 pm. Tickets are $45 per person.

FAR concert

August 17 - The FAR Concert - with Organists Zach Frame, Nathan Avakian, and Nicholas Renkosik

Playing solos and trios (organ, piano, and drums) these gentlemen bring the excitement of surprising selections for the theater organ as well as wonderful interpretations of timeless pieces. This eclectic mix of talented musician never fails to delight us and has become an audience favorite at Sanfilippo.

Doors open at 6:30 pm for touring, Concert from 8 pm - 9:30, and Carousel visit from 9:30 pm - 10:30 pm. Tickets are $45 per person.

Younce Guitar Duo

September 14 - Evening in 1920s Paris, with The Younce Guitar Duo

A special evening concert focused on music from 1920s Paris, Jerry and Ryan Younce bring their virtuoso 1920 guitar styles to our stage. This event includes 90-minutes of exploring 3 of the 4 Perfume Galleries from 6:30 pm - 8:00pm, followed by the concert from 8 pm - 9:30 pm. After the concert you may take a ride on the 1890 Eden Palais Carousel which was built in Paris. Make it extra elegant by attending in 1920 Parisian attire. Tickets are $45 per person.

The Perfume Passage Foundation mission: Preserving the history, beauty, and artistry of perfume bottles, compacts, ephemera and related vanity items, the Perfume Passage Foundation seeks to educate and inspire visitors by illuminating the connection between perfume and the human experience.

Come visit the unique window displays and travel through time and history with our intimate, docent-guided tour through the world of perfume bottles, vanity items, ephemera and much more.

Visiting the Sanfilippo Estate

The Sanfilippo Estate is a private residence not open to the general public except through pre-arranged charity events and pre-arranged group tours of 40 or more guests, and a limited number of corporate events. Interested groups may contact the Foundation Director by email: director@sanfilippofoundation.org for more information. We do not offer the Estate for weddings, wedding related activities, nor children's parties.

Special Events (concerts, gala fundraisers) can be arranged for Charity Organizations and Corporate Groups. Email the Sanfilippo Foundation Director: director@sanfilippofoundation.org. Please include a contact phone number.

Tour Groups: 3-Hour, Docent-Guided Tours of the Sanfilippo Collection are available for groups of 40 or more. Send an email to: info@sanfilippofoundation.org. Please include the name of your group and a contact phone number.

Individuals looking to visit the Estate are encouraged to find a group (such as your local libraries, park districts, senior centers, etc.) who can put together the required minimum for one of our 3-hour Docent-Guided Tours and then have the organization contact the Foundation Director; or you can visit one of the websites of the charities holding events at the Estate (links provided) and obtain tickets to an event listed; or you can attend a Sanfilippo Foundation event -- all are updated regularly on this website. We also encourage individuals to sign up for our E-Newsletter. On occasion, we offer individual tickets to a guided tour to our E-Newsletter subscribers. Our preference for initial contact is by email.
